Sudan Episode 11: "The Bitch Has Gotta Go"
-----------------------------------------------------

Back at camp, Cole talked to GiGi and tried to convince her that he voted for Bennett, which she instantly saw was a lie. She felt completely alone, but hoped that Gustavo would at least with stick with her and try to pull something off.

Meanwhile, Bennett sat by the watering hole and reflected his game, shocked by the fact that he was still in the game given the rocky start. Now, he realized that he'd let Joe and Nathan get too far, and he was ready to possibly make a move.

Joe and Nathan also had a conversation in the shelter. Nathan said he would be happy as long as they got to the Final 2 together, and Joe agreed... but added that it wouldn't be worth it unless he won. At this point, it seemed that almost every had their eyes on the prize.

The next morning, Gustavo woke up early and decided to give one last shot to searching for the idol. He wandered around for a while, continuing to search, until he miraculously came up with the idol in the middle of a short sand pile. Ecstatic, he quickly stuffed the idol in his pocket and went back to camp.

At the challenge, the castaways had to answer trivia questions, take the first letter of each answer, and assemble a word using the letters. It was a close challenge, but Bennett was the fastest, coming up with the correct word "SUCCESS".

Back at camp, Bennett was ready to make a move. He talked with Gustavo and GiGi and the three decided to vote for Joe, who was deemed a threat to win. They knew they could at least tie the vote, but Gustavo hoped to correctly play his idol and ensure that they'd get a majority.

Meanwhile, Joe, Fowler, and Cole realized that Bennett could potentially flip. Nobody wanted to go to rocks, so Joe became determined to split their new-found trio. He talked to GiGi and convinced her that him and Fowler wanted to blindside Cole, but the plan had to be kept between them 3, to make it a 3-2-1 vote. GiGi liked the idea; abandoning her alliance with Gustavo and Bennett, she decided to vote Cole.

At tribal council, the manipulation was successful and all the rebellion plans fell apart completely. Gustavo played his idol on himself, thinking that he would be the one to receive votes. GiGi had changed her vote to Cole, screwing herself over, as she received 3 votes, Joe received 2, and Cole only received 1 from GiGi.

This left 5 in the game, with a clear Final 3 now set in stone.

Sudan Episode 12: "Chopping Block Elementary School"
------------------------------------------------------------------

Returning to camp, Joe was furious to find that their suspicions were correct, and Bennett had flipped. He, Fowler, and Cole were prepared to eliminate Bennett and Gustavo back-to-back, securing their spots in the Final 3.

Gustavo confronted Bennett, and both thought that the other had screwed up the vote. After a bit of a heated argument, they realized that GiGi must've voted for Cole, but there was still doubt and uncertainty between them.

That night, the trio slept on one side of the shelter, while Gustavo and Bennett slept on the other. With all the idols out of the game, it looked like most everything relied on the immunity challenge.

At the challenge, the castaways had to guess the opinions on eliminated players from the outside world. Gustavo proved adept at the challenge, especially as he knew he was guaranteed 5th place if he lost. He dominated the challenge, shutting out everyone else and winning immunity.

Back at camp, the trio of Joe, Nathan, and Cole knew that it was time for Bennett to go. Nathan bounced the idea of blindsiding Cole off of Joe, but Joe instantly shut the idea down, knowing it would be a mistake.

Meanwhile, Gustavo decided to vote for Nathan, wanting to be the last person in the game with zero votes. Bennett fell in line with this plan, knowing there were little other options.

At tribal council, Bennett made his final stand by taking pride in the sloppy game he had played, yet still making it to the Final 5. He called out Joe and Fowler's obvious Final 2, and criticized Cole for accepting a losing placement.

His speech, however, changed nothing. In a 3-2 vote, Bennett was eliminated, leaving only 4 people in the game - 2 original Morobo and 2 original Kassala.

Survivor: Sudan Edgic & Story-lines:

Dana gets a huge villainous first boot edit, the explosion w/ her vs. Nikki & GiGi is significant.

Bryce gets a somewhat positive, "fish out of water" edit.

Sterling starts off with an edit about being out-of-place on the tribe, then her edit becomes kind of irrelevant.

James gets a barely-visible edit, shown sheeping Joe and sucking in challenges.

Daniel starts off quiet, then gets an increasingly negative edit. He'd be portrayed as someone who slowly loses it out there, goes off the walls by the end. Not a good game-player.

Rich gets the heroic pre-merge edit, tries to keep his tribe really strong and plays a loyal game. Gets cut by Bennett towards the end, he literally begs for mercy, but doesn't make the merge.

Sean gets a CPN edit, very strong strategist who controls Morobo completely, the "N" is because he's seen as a dictator by Cole & Gustavo, two main narrators on that tribe. Seems unstoppable pre-merge.

Nikola gets a mostly invisible edit, seen as one of Sean's sheep.

Nikki gets the most invisible edit, only significant for the thing with Dana in the beginning. Seen as clueless as to what's happening in-game.

Joey starts off with an invisible edit, once the merge comes and Sean goes, he develops an under-the-radar edit for trying to save Morobo and for winning clutch immunities when he would've gone home.

GiGi's edit starts as "Sean's apprentice". She is loyal to Sean, but also a strong player as she finds the idol, strategizes, etc. Once Sean leaves, her edit picks up as she takes over as the Morobo alliance leader but ultimately fails. She starts to get an underdog edit, but somewhat mixed due to her strong personality and fiery confessionals. In the last episode, she gets an "Eve takes the apple" kind of edit, which leads to her elimination.

Bennett starts off as very OTT, seen as crazy. Then, he starts to get a little depth as he is shown to be playing the game, thinking, strategizing, finding idols even. He often gets "M" because we see his more sympathetic side, but almost everyone in the game trashes him constantly. Later on, he starts to get CPP as he develops into someone who retaliates against Joe and Nathan, reflects on the game & appreciates it, etc.

Cole gets a consistently CPN edit pre-merge as he's "the snake in Sean's boot". He wants Sean out the entire pre-merge, and is shown as bloodthirsty. At the merge, he acts and becomes a mole to sink the Morobo tribe, continuing his CPN edit. Later on, as we realize that he's going to be played by Joe and Fowler, he gets a more CPM edit. Still a villain, but we start to sympathize with him. In the finale, he becomes CPP as he really wants to win, but gets torn down by Joe.

Joe starts off pre-merge as mostly OTTN, he's shown as someone who is bitching about everyone and everything, not really playing the game that well. Decisions from Fowler and Joe are shown as BOTH of theirs pre-merge. During the merge, he starts to branch off and become CPN as he focuses on the game, becomes a threat to win, separates himself from Fowler, and is shown to really want the win. He is CPM in the finale because the game slips from his hands and we're seeing how much he really wanted it, only to lose by a little bit.

Nathan starts off with an almost-solid edit, shown as making some decisions with Joe, offers some narration on what's happening pre-merge. Nobody dislikes him, but he gets a "CPN" in two episodes for being tied to Joe mostly and trashing some players on the tribe. During the merge, he becomes non-existent, basically controlled by Joe. Towards the end, he gets UTRN as nobody respects him, people say he is undeserving, etc.

Gustavo starts off with a mostly positive edit, he's shown as an underdog pre-merge due to being on the bottom, everyone saying he'll be the next one off Morobo, etc. yet he still plays the game, wants Sean out, "outcast edit". He occasionally gets "M" when his more sneaky and spiteful side is shown, but he's generally likable and easy to root for. When the merge hits, he is shown as an underdog still, as he's on the outs, but he has the hope of winning. Towards the end, he ends up on the bottom and relies on immunity wins. He becomes an underdog who tears apart the unlikable alliance of Joe/Cole/Nathan, who all got negative edits.
