Question: for my opinion, I do feel Nick won (in my games, the winner of a tie is determined by who achieved the winning condition first). But I would like to know how the cast would be expected to know when 4:00 is on the host's computer? Like, how could one plan for that? Lol.

You can't... Just as I can not be expected to know when it is 4:00 on your computer.  But I am just saying it to point out I did not change the rules.  If you are going to go to the last second then there will always be risks like that in these games.  It is only an issue on the blogs though because everything else can we can see the time posted.
