Here are some rules to help guide your journey this season! You do not have to post "understood" or anything on this forum. Just keep these in mind. If any rules violations happen, this rule thread is what we will go by. First up, the very basics of the game.
==ANNOUNCEMENTS/CONFESSIONALS/VOTING==
Announcements will mostly be made via a main cast chat, tribe chats, and your production chat. Your production chat is one of the most important things for you to keep track of. This is the chat that has just you and production. It is in this chat that we ask for you to post confessionals and vote. If you vote via Tengaged mail, there is a possibility of that being hacked, moreso than Skype, so if you HAVE to vote via TG mail, I would prefer you verify it is you via Skype. This is to help me sleep at night.
Failing to vote will result in a SELF-VOTE. Two SELF-VOTES in a row or three in total will result in a medical evacuation. We have never had to do this so please don't make us start.
For confessionals, we would like your insight on the game in your production chat. This can be written or video or even through Skype's voice message feature. If we don't understand something OR if you don't send us a lot of content, we will ask your questions to get a better understanding. Confessionals help us determine awards and future returnee spots.
If you do not have Skype, we HIGHLY recommend creating one but we will work around it.
==CHALLENGES==
We will be hosting a mix between LIVE, SEMILIVE, and NONLIVE challenges. We try to make this game as convenient for people as possible, so if a major conflict arises that prevent you from attending a LIVE challenge, let us know. We cannot promise anything but we do try and help our casts have a fun experience. Challenges will be a mixture of skill, luck, endurance, etc.
In LKB5, we had a player want to TRANSFER IMMUNITY. So I would like to put out there exactly how that will work. If, for some reason, you want to GIVE UP YOUR IMMUNITY NECKLACE, it must be transferred within an hour after you win the challenge to give people time to figure the vote out. This prevents the necklace from functioning as an idol in this style of game. If you wish to transfer during live finale night, it must be transferred IMMEDIATELY after you win immunity.
This goes without saying but NO CHEATING IN CHALLENGES. This includes faking screenshots or having someone else do it.
==TRIBAL COUNCIL==
Tribes that lose will attend tribal, and can request for us to ask them questions. This is not required but is a fun addition to the game.
I already have brought up SELF-VOTES in the first section, so let's mention ADVANTAGES. We prefer most advantage plays 15 minutes before the votes. If Tribal is at 6 PM EST, we like to know by 5:45 PM EST or so. Some advantages (for example, TJ's Idol Nullifier from last season) MUST be played 15 minutes before the vote. We will let you know and if you are confused about a certain item, just ask in your prod chat. Idols can be played LIVE, meaning right at tribal when we ask for idol plays.
==BE NICE==
These games get heated. There is backstabbing and cutthroat strategy and all that, but we want everyone to have a relatively good time. Please keep disagreements and arguments on a game level. If things get heated in a way that is deemed too much (threats, bigotry, etc.), production can and will step in. We have a basic 3-strike system for certain instances but if it gets too much, that system can be bypassed. If someone acts cruelly in pm's, please provide credible proof in your production chat. Also, please do not use these rules as a means to get yourself further in a game (for example, sitting on a screenshot for too long until it benefits you to tell production). These violations will be handled on a case-by-case basis and we will typically consult another host to make sure we are making a correct call.
==TIES==
We function on normal Survivor US tied rules. If the vote ties, we go into a revote. If it ties again, we draw rocks. People in the tie or with immunity will not draw rocks.
==IDOLS==

==SCREENSHOTS/QUOTING==
In this season, screenshots and Skype quotes are not allowed. This is a common ORG rule that we will be implementing fully this season. You ARE allowed to send screenshots of convos to your prod chat to 1. report rule violations or to 2. let us see how 1 on 1 convos went strategically. Punishments for these may result in votes against you or general strikes. Repeated abuse results in expulsion.
==PROD CHAT GUESTS===
Another common ORG thing, you are allowed to have TWO guests in your prod chat. Their purpose is to motivate you, ask you questions, or just have fun in there. These people may NOT be people who were on the season at any point. If someone was voted out, even premerge, they cannot be in your prod chat. Please ask us for permission to add first so we can make sure they aren't in another prod chat. Guests can only be on ONE prod chat but if their person gets voted out they are allowed to switch prod chats. Each player can only have two guests, NO EXCEPTIONS.
