You know you seriously don’t have to have a party for my bday. It’s just another day.

*George texts Miles*

Landon sighs, shaking his head. "He can sit down. . . I'll just talk with you about this later."

*Jess nods at Landon's answer, smiling at George*
Jess: Sure thing!

*George looks at Landon*
Talk about what... the fact another guy was murdered? It's the talk of the town so you might as well speak about it whilst I'm here...

*he rolls his eyes throwing on a coat and looking in the mirror doing his hair before he texts back*
I don’t see why you want to. Doubt anyone will show up anyways.

*George looks around, before looking at Landon and Jess*
I may be new but I'm not stupid... my Grandma's lived here for over a decade and nothing has happened no murders, no crime and suddenly in two months, two kids die.... don't you find that suspicious?

Landon paused for a moment, thinking for a few seconds. "Fine, I guess we can talk about it."

*Noah stands up from the dining room table, having only taken a few bites of his food*

Noah: Everything's fine, mom. I've gotta be somewhere in a bit. *tosses down his napkin, walking into the kitchen*

Aaron: *sighs* I told you not to make the pork chops tonight.

Lauren: Make yourself dinner next time then, I've never seen a recipe book that covers when your child is slightly depressed.

Jess: Well, yeah. But other than being more cautious, what're we going to do? I don't know about you two, but I am definitely not a detective.
