Let’s start the show and first up singing Summertime is LEONA LEWIS!
Here are the Judge’s Comments:
Craig: This was a slow burner being hesitant at the start but then your voice grew as the song went along and that ending note was worth the wait.
Nicole: You’re packing a lot of punch with that voice as this song was perfect to show off your range and you can sing any note with relative ease and I’m proud of you.
Motsi: I’m getting goosebumps watching this as you sung with such control and with a high amount of range hitting those high notes and you’ve got something special.
Simon: You are showing your talent in this field by doing a song that at first didn’t feel like it has a lot of potential and then you milked every note to make it one of a kind.
Next up singing Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby) is HONEY G!!!!!
Here are the Judge’s Comments:
Craig: I’m still wondering why you’re still here based on that as you seem out of breath with each rap that doesn’t flow very well and I can say that it was a disaster.
Nicole: Honey G is the house and that was a smashing performance as you got me on my feet shouting for more as you’ve grown as a performer.
Motsi: Well, you are good at rapping and this was an entertaining show for the audience but maybe it is starting to get repetitive and I want you to try and spice it up.
Simon: You’re one of a kind but this performance was bad as it didn’t feel as fun as your previous ones and you couldn’t keep up with the beats in this song.
Craig: Your high notes were slightly off with it seem like you were going overboard but that was a very impressive performance going up and beyond to make it memorable.
Nicole: You once again pulled something special with that giving shivers as the way you hit those notes were just magnificent and that performance deserves to be seen in the final.
Motsi: Wow I’m literally left speechless with how you gave me the tingles seeing you pour your heart and soul into this with so much emotion and crazy notes.
Simon: This is what perfection looks like as you went straight for it without looking back and producing those high vocals with ease and you ticked every box to make it incredible.
Craig: There weren’t any vocal power coming from you being more focused on the performance which isn’t a bad thing but I prefer to see your vocal strength.
Nicole: Oh, my Olly you got some saucy energy as this is the type of man, I like to see showing off his confidence with such ease and growled each note to give it that extra factor.
Motsi: I don’t mind if you stay shirtless as you were on fire tackling that song with a passion in your drive and that is the type of energy I like to see in a performer.
Simon: Well, you certainly gained a lot of confidence but your vocals just sound weak here and I didn’t hear any power as I find this performance to be a tad forgettable.
Next up singing Play That Funky Music is LUKE FRIEND!
Here are the Judge’s Comments:
Craig: This was awful as you lost control of the performance and your vocals didn’t mash well with the music with it being not your night sadly.
Nicole: It is nice that you decided to branch out and try something different but I don’t feel like this is for you getting drowned out by the music and it was a mess.
Motsi: What happened to the performer who had that sweet voice and brought something unique because this sounded very generic and not original but at least you showed us some power.
Simon: What the bloody hell was that and that was a big downgrade coming from you as it sounds like your vocals were struggling with that song and it just wasn’t good enough.
