Starting off the night. We will talk about Alma Mater.

Nik: This was a big miss for me, girl. Your runway, while the headpiece was fantastic, wasn’t very interesting otherwise and looked like something you’d normally come out in. I really wish you had went more in depth with the “blood” concept of your stone, but if you didn’t want to go that literal with it I understand. I dunno, this was just a wonky idea overall for me.
Cody:I think your back story is alright, but the only redeeming quality of your look is the elegant mask. I feel like you were a little too safe this week with your choices.

Secondly we have Jessieca.

Nik: I really loved this. Your runway was beautiful, your backstory and powers were detailed but to the point. I just think you hit the nail on the head this week, and I’m very happy considering your stumble the last few weeks.
Cody:Your story is definitely one of the most unique and thought out. I adore this. Using tears as a weapon is also such a clever idea. As for your look, I'd read you for black face however, the task at hand and what you were assigned you had no choice. I like the shimmery feel she has on her arms and her outfit is spectacular. My only issue is the hair is kinda busy as well as the poor pasting job of a crystal on the forehead. Besides that, it's fantastically done.

Chris:I really like this look! It tells a story and it's very beautiful. If I had to critique one thing, I think I would've liked the eye to be black, I think the brown just sticks out a little. Good Job though!

Nik: You clearly knew what you were doing this round. I loved your gem’s power, it was an interesting idea and I think it worked very well. I however didn’t like the muted palette you used, and I know that was the entire point of your submission, but it didn’t work for me personally. Anyway, I think you did fine this week.
Cody:What I appreciate about yours' is how much you emphasized the actual qualities of the gem itself. Your concept is very unique however, when I look at this I feel like there's too much going on. My favorite part about this look is the gem on the forehead. I feel like you tried to bite off more than you could chew. This look is proof of that.
Chris:This is absolutely gorgeous. I am completely in love with this look and think it's SICKENING. Fantastic Job!

Moving on we have Heather Lockwood.

Cody:Your story has depth and it intrigues me it definitely is thought out. However the visual I feel lacks for me. I love the desert, Bollywood esque vibe she gives off. I just don't feel like this is even a Tengaged avatar really. I see Zwooper everything. I'd say tone down on the zwooper things and make it have that Tengaged quality like your competitors are doing. That doesn't mean using zwooper stuff is bad, I just feel like you've overdone it is all.
Nik: Gorgeous, I mean, this was so thought out and executed flawlessly. Your backstory was probably the most interesting, and I’m so glad you used so many elements from the actual show in your story. The runway is fuckin’ gorgeous and the halos are perfect and you using the idea of sun all throughout the story and like… this was just great, Heatha.

Chris:This is a beautiful look! I was initially confused about the thing half way up your face but now that I look at it more it's quite beautiful!

Nik: Meh. I liked your story, but it was just very simple (not using basic here because that’s kind of a kiss of death) to me. The idea of using wind as your power instead of some lunar themed power was an interesting idea but I just feel like you could have done a lot more with a moon ability. Dunno, really.
Cody:When reading your story I was kinda getting bored. Like I think you repeated yourself or tried to emphasize something in the second paragraph (intentional or not) I was kinda annoyed. Your concept kinda is similar to some others' so the creativity is a little lacking to me. When it comes to the runway I like the warrior-vibe and her wig is amazing as well as her emulating her power. You were one of the only people to try that this week.
Chris:It's a nice look, I think it could've given me a little more but it's.......nice

Cody:I love that your story has such a dark quality to it. It's very #Unapologetic. As for your look. I adore this, the only things I don't care for are the basic hair and lips you used. Your gem visual and headband are amazing as well as your glowing outfit. Very unexpected from you Miss Joan! If I were to nitpick I feel your story and look could have been pushed and a little bit more dramatic.
Nik: As much as I enjoyed your original story (you have a real talent there) I’m sort of glad you changed and stayed true to the real backstory of a gem. I have no negative critiques here really.
Chris:This is a great look! I love how you went unconventional with it and didn't just do some gorgeous gown and put some thought into it.
