Alternate Reality Productions is looking for 16 dedicated Tengaged investigators to solve the disappearance and kidnapping of 21 year old Beaver, Pennsylvania local Kyle Saltona. Saltona is believed to have been kidnapped by a local killer calling him or herself the "Beaver Butcher," who has already left 14 bodies in their wake.
AR Productions is prepared to give $50 to the one investigator who solves the kidnapping and finds the killer. (Yes, $50 literal dollars, in cash, sent to the house of whomever wins the game.)
Welcome to Beaver, Pennsylvania, where everything has been thrown into a delirium, and everyone has something to hide.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN APPLYING, READ THE FOLLOWING:
1) APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN.
2) All applicants MUST have a valid AIM screenname. In this game, you will interact with and question "townspeople" via AOL Instant Messenger, so this is a MUST. This will be one of the main ways you learn more about the central mystery in the game.
3) I realize every host says this, but please, if you are going to seriously apply for this game, YOU NEED TO BE ACTIVE. Those who are inactive in the first 24 hours will be automatically eliminated.
4) This game will involve a killer, and therefore will involve death. In addition to the textual descriptions of the murders, there is also the possibility that the game will involve videos depicting the death of different characters. If you are prone to not liking violence, be warned.
5) For those who are willing to submerge themselves deeper into the game, there will be the option to provide your cell phone numbers-- this will allow characters from the game to text you and call you. This is not a must, but is encouraged if you are interested in deepening the game experience. Again, this is not mandatory, just an option for those who want to be fully enveloped by the atmosphere of the game.
