01) Milena Brody - I thought I would be into this but that voice is awful. WTF? The pause caught me off guard. The chorus has a nice beat but I still can't stand her voice. Overall, it's an unconventional entry. I want to like it but there's a lot about it that sadly turns me off.
02) Charli XCX - This kind of sounds like LIZ. This could have been a really good song but the chorus was exceptionally weak. I dig the bridge, but that's not enough for me to like the song. It's too sugary for my taste.
03) Dream Wife - I'm sorry but she sounds like a cat being strangled, especially in the chorus. I didn't like the guitars in this one either.
04) Pale Waves - I came across this band while song searching. They had quite a few songs that I liked. This was one of them. It's definitely the type of rock entry I can get behind.
05) Lilit Hovhannisyan - Imagine not sending Puerto Rico. This was very meh.
06) Boy Epic - I recall giving Boy Epic my 12 points a few weeks ago. Another 12 is not out of the question. Fantastic song.
07) Elodie, Michele Bravi, Guè Pequeno - Is this Luca? This has a sweet beat, and the chorus is quite good. I think this would actually benefit from being in a full foreign language themed contest, because it's quite upbeat. The chorus is really exceptional.
08) Jungle - All of their songs are very style over substance for me. I don't hate this but I much prefer some of their other singles, such as Heavy, California.
09) Mona Haydar - Lyrically, I quite like this. Nice instruments too. I don't hate the rap verses, and the chorus is nice. It's less novel than Wrap My Hijab, but that's probably what makes it a better song.
10) Mitski - Snooze fest. Wow, this got loud. I still don't like it.
11) Trisha Paytas - You know, Trisha actually has some enjoyable pop songs (ie. Freaky). So I don't get why we're continuing to send her songs about Jesus. I was over this faster than it began.
12) AURORA - Considered submitting this one. I'd never been a big Aurora fan, but this is actually a really good song. Fantastic chorus as well.
13) Emeli Sande - I like Emeli but this is far from her best. A little dull.
14) Mackenzie Nicole - This is giving me untalented white 15 year old girl that has a recording contract despite that. This could have been a good song had her voice not been so altered.
15) Rebecca - I see that someone's run out of music. This was my clear favourite in Norway's national final. It has a lovely, majestic sound. It's not something I'd play on repeat listen but I enjoy it each time it comes on.
16) Against The Current - Crossing my fingers for an epic production. Oh, there it is. If you know anything about me, you'll know that this is totally up my ally. It's not the best I've heard, but definitely leaves its mark.
17) LOBODA - I wouldn't expect anything less from her. It's just as enjoyable as most of her other tracks. The chorus snaps hard.
18) Welshly Arms - Another one I considered submitting. While I personally prefer Sanctuary, this is another standout track. It's not perfect, but I like it a lot.
19) LSD - This kept popping up in my recommended YouTube playlists, so I've heard it tons before. There's a lot to like about this. The production is on point, and their voices are all brilliant. It's quite a mellow track, but an enjoyable one at that.
20) Little Big Town - This is really chill. I like it.
21) Sultan & Shepard - For some reason I was expecting this to be an EDM track, but this is so much better. She's got a fantastic voice, and I adore the piano. Despite it having been a strong contest, this is giving me major winner vibes.
22) Elle King - Didn't realize Elle had new music out. This is good. It reminds me a lot of the last song, and I think I like both equally.
23) Halflives - This is building well. I don't love the chorus, but it's a decent song for what it is.
24) Gryffin, Elley Duhé - Uninspired ending to this relatively strong contest.
