This Power of Veto competition is called “Quoridor”, and here’s how it works.
In this competition, players will compete in Quoridor on the board game arena. As opposed to previous BGA games where everyone plays everyone round robin style, today we have taken a different face-off approach
At the start of a round, I will post a TRUE or FALSE question. The FIRST to answer INCORRECTLY will automatically enter a match-up. The FIRST person to answer CORRECTLY will pick who plays against them. So you want to be fast but correct. If ALL are correct then it will be the SLOWEST to be CORRECT who is forced to play.
Both players forced to play a particular match-up will be IMMUNE from playing the next one. This is so we can go right ahead and play for the next Quoridor match whilst one is ongoing.
THE PLAN:
6 people compete to decide the match-up for 6th place.
4 people compete to decide the match-up for 5th place.
2 people + winner of 6th place match decide the match-up for 4th place.
Remaining player + winner of 5th place match compete automatically for 3rd place.
Winner of the 4th place + 3rd place matches go head to head for the POWER of VETO.
The match-up system will make more sense when we begin, but effectively you will only play between 2 and 3 games in total.
