This season's main twist is called THE MADHOUSE.
It is a combination of Redemption Island and Occultus Island.
When players are voted out they do not go home. They instead face off in a head-to-head duel with another voted out player to earn a spot in the next stage. The winner advances while the loser is out for good. Once a certain number of people have advanced, the successful candidates will compete in a condensed version of the Survivor post-merge, all taking place on one day, to decide who will re-enter the game.
