What did you think of the last round?
It made me want to leave Tengaged as soon as this game is over, and it stirred violent emotions I haven't felt in some time.
Could Medusa Impact the game?
It's a shame that Medusa is so dreadful this season. In Greek mythology, Poseidon raped Medusa, and because it happened in the temple of Athena, making the temple therefore "unclean", Athena turned Medusa into a monster. Then Perseus was sent to decapitate Medusa, and he went on to use her head as a weapon in battle, turning his enemies into stone.
SO, therefore, Medusa is actually a clear victim of the patriarchy -- violated, transformed, murdered, and quite literally weaponized -- and a telling example of the misogynistic Western conscious, which roots back to Ancient times. She is a fascinating example of a female victim having her narrative taken from her and twisted into a symbol of monstrosity.
And now Shawn has SLAPPED her on an Internet Survivor logo and made her an annoying twist in his toxic Internet Survivor series. And for that I will never forgive him.
