Welcome to the first live show for So You Think You Can Dance! I'm your host, DirgeThis, and now, let's meet the competitors:

THE BOYS:
jiver, Kahili, kingsoccer121, pooh0902, rohvenk1, whizkid1428, Willis

THE GIRLS:
alondrunk, ambermansell, bombom29, ceyda, heatherbear, jenny1234, MaryXx

For the first two shows, the couples will perform as a couple, with the public voting for their favourite couple. As such, we've randomly put together each guy with a girl, and the couples for the first two shows are:

jiver AND bombom29
Kahili AND jenny1234
kingsoccer121 AND heatherbear
pooh0902 AND ceyda
rohvenk1 AND ambermansell
whizkid1428 AND MaryXx
Willis AND alondrunk

As such, each couple also has a dance style for this week:

jiver/bombom29: Jazz
Kahili/jenny1234: Latin
kingsoccer121/heatherbear: Disco
pooh0902/ceyda: Hip-Hop
rohvenk1/ambermansell: Contemporary
whizkid1428/MaryXx: Ballroom
Willis/alondrunk: Rock 'n' Roll

Each couple must post ONE video in the style given above (yes, one video PER COUPLE, not PER PERSON). We advise discussion between the couples for which video will be used, and we only accept the first video posted by the couple for judging. =)

Loved the Choreography. Fast Movements match you theme. Very Good Paso Doble. You two have set some high expectations for yourselves.

BomBom & Jiver

Sorry but the mans arms were all over the place. This theme did not suit him. I utterly Hated the performance. BORING. If you are here next week you will need to raise your performance levels!

Alond & Willis

Wonderful Footwork and some wonderful lifts. You Got good heights on the lifts. It Was An Entertaining performance. Well Done

Pooh & Ceyda

It was a good and standard performance for the first week. Try adding more complex choreography for the next round as you have some still competition.

Whizkid & Mary

The chemistry between you two was perfect. I could see the emotions between you two during the dance. Great use of the floor space and i loved the choreography. Wonderful Dance. BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT ALL ROUND.

Rohvenk & Amber

Great Choreography, Best Performance of the night if i base it on the complexity of your dancing. Great performance and i hope to see both of you next week :D

Heather & Soccer

Awesome Performance. Loved the different motifs you have entered into your dance . One of the most entertaining of the night. keep up the good work!
