Ok for example if I sent

“Hktuv Rncagt Xqvgf Qwv”

You'd have to move each letter a number of stops forwards or backwards on the alphabet for it to make sense.

So lets take the first word back one step each letter of the alphabet.

It gives us "Gjstu", as G is before H on the alphabet, and so on. It doesn't make sense yet.

Let's take it back one more from G to the letter F.

"First" - ah that makes sense!
