I think this is a cute shot. However, from a photography standpoint it’s pretty flat. And by that I mean there isn’t really a wide range of light and dark values and everything is kind of neutral gray. But I do really like the pose, it’s sexy without being too over the top and the hand placement fits the pose by being natural. I kind of wish her hair was wet honestly. It would add more realism to the shot. A definite improvement from last week.

I do like this photo. The color combination DOES kind of give me artsy home photographer takes a picture for tinder vibe, BUT I do think that the model’s complexion in this photo and the gloss on his skin is excellent. It does feel very sensual and his facial expression is good without overdoing it.

This feels very classic and chic. The lighting is IMPECCABLE and just hitting the body right. Love the expression on her face and I do enjoy the styling as well. The hands ARE very “I’m posing I need to do something with them” but it barely detracts from the image for me. This feels very HOT and makes me wish I was a sultry blonde woman resting on a hammock on the beach.

Interesting. I do think this is a pretty funny approach to this week and I didn’t really anticipate anyone to go Industrial with this, but I like it! Peter Lindbergh is actually one of my favorite photographers (my favorite is Duane Michals). Adore the androgyny here, very fitting, and the looking back pose makes this feel like we were capturing a real moment in a factory. I am seeing a trend of you sticking with older photographs so I do challenge you to try something a bit more modern next week.
