Before we begin, I'd like to congratulate you all on making it here this far, some of you had an easy ride while others fought hard, no matter what the case may be, you ALL worked your way to get here and all of your strategies are valid! Now it's time to see which team can get that elusive win and be the champions of ITC: The Gauntlet!

I'd like to welcome the 12 of you to the "Bet Your Booty" final challenge!

Each team will be given 400 doubloons. Before ANY of the teams can begin any of the checkpoints, ALL of the Captains of each team must send me a list of how many doubloons they'll be betting on each checkpoint.
**The maximum you can bet on is 100, the minimum is 1**

The number of doubloons you'll be getting for each checkpoint will depend on both how many you bet on that checkpoint + how your team places

Return system for each checkpoint:
1st - 100% of the Doubloons your team bet on for that specific checkpoint
2nd - 40% of the Doubloons your team bet on for that specific checkpoint
3rd - 0% of the Doubloons your team bet on for that specific checkpoint

So for example for Checkpoint 1 let's say the bets were as follow:
Team 1: 100 / Team 2: 50 / Team 3: 5

Placements for Checkpoint 1:
1st - Team 2 / 2nd - Team 1 / 3rd - Team 3

This is how many doubloons each team would get for Checkpoint 1:
Team 2: 100% of 50 → 50
Team 1: 40% of 100 → 40
Team 3: 0% of 40 → 0
**In the event of decimals, I'd round it to the nearest whole number**

Captains will have until tomorrow (11/29) by 6:30 PM EST to message me how much their team will be betting on each checkpoint.

————CHECKPOINTS————

— Checkpoint 1: Task Mania —
**Set up a time for the ENTIRE team to do this checkpoint**

There will be 6 tasks posted, 3 will be puzzles along with 3 minigames.

**All screenshots must be a FULL screenshot that includes your taskbar/puzzle pieces/tengaged profile**

Teams will need to complete all 6 tasks to stop their time.
*Each team member is required to finish at least one task*

— Checkpoint 2: Pirate Memory —
**Set up a time for the ENTIRE team to do this checkpoint**

Teams will be given a list of 30 events that happened in this season, you will rearrange them in chronological order.

Your team will then alternate posts in a thread using the following command:
Event _: _
(Replace first _ with number; the second _ with the event)
*Once you pick an order, you have to stick with it*

— Checkpoint 3: Sand Sprint —
**Set up a time for the ENTIRE team to do this checkpoint**

Teams will be doing a 2000 meter run, they will also be given 20 flags of different countries.

You will alternate posts in a forum using the following command:
Sprints past meter _
(Replace _ with meter number; Go up in increments of 10)
*Once you pick an order, you have to stick with it*

After every 100 meters, the person up next in the rotation will have to drop off a flag by saying:
Drops off flag _
(Replace _ with flag letter)

There is a specific order that the flags that need to be dropped off, you will drop them off in order of SMALLEST population to LARGEST. I will be using the populations solely from this site so do not use anything else:

After a flag is dropped off, the person up next in the rotation will be the one continuing the run.

After the final flag (20th) has been dropped off, your time will stop. For every flag that is incorrect, your team will earn a 2-minute penalty.

— Checkpoint 4: Buoy Endurance —
**For this checkpoint, only TWO people from each team need to compete in this as a PAIR, it can be done without me being online.**

When you both are ready to compete, BOTH people must **MAIL** me the following phrase:
START TIME FOR CHECKPOINT 4

After that, you and your partner can go to your checkpoint thread. All you have to do is post the following phrase WHILE also alternating posts:
Holds onto buoy _
(Replace _ with post number, so start with 1, the next person will do 2, etc.)

You will have 6 hours from the start time to count up as high as possible. After 6 hours have passed, your run will stop.

— Checkpoint 5: Spam Your Booty Off —
**Discuss with your team what time to do this, the ENTIRE team needs to be online for this checkpoint. It can be done without me being online**

This is a simple checkpoint, to start your time, only ONE person has to mail me the following phrase:
START TIME FOR CHECKPOINT 5

After someone has started your time, the goal is to get 50 people to mail me your team color, so Blue, Red, or Yellow.
*You cannot use people who played in this season, they must be people outside of this game; People are allowed to help out more than one team*

Once you think your team has reached the 50 vote mark, then you may stop your poll by having EVERYONE on the team mail me:
CLOSE POLL

For each vote you are off, you will earn a minute time penalty per vote. There is no penalty for getting over 50 obviously.
