Good evening all! This week was R&B week, and whew what a hard week it turned out to be ranking-wise. You all delivered, however - some more than others.

Sza - “Good Days”
This is one of my favorite songs right now! It’s so dreamy and makes me think of the good days that are to come after this pandemic is over.

Shontelle - “Impossible”
One of my favorite songs ever, it’s so emotional and strong. No one sings it like Shontelle, I only listen to her version. A great submission!

Shontelle - “T-Shirt”
Shontelle really made two entrances in the top 3 this week, what an underrated queen. She deserved more! This is a bop and a half, even though nothing will ever top Impossible.

Destiny’s Child - “Survivor”
This is such a classic! Even though I prefer Beyoncé individually as an artist, Destiny’s Child had great moments, and this song is iconic: A trip down nostalgia lane!

Jazmine Sullivan - “Bust Your Windows”
This is a rather new artist for me, and I’m definitely gonna check her out after listening to both of the songs. I really liked this song!

Jazmine Sullivan - “Girl Like Me”
Basically the same as Darrius, I just preferred his choice slightly more.

Beyoncé - “Baby Boy”
Loves classic Bey, however not this song that much. It’s cute but a bit forgettable and dated, and there’s definitely better choices on that album. Don’t kill me, MBD.
Thirteen
Monica - “Angel of Mine”
This is a cute song for sure, however it got a bit boring overall. Not bad though, 13!

Usher - “U Got It Bad”
I do like a lot of Ushers songs, however I’m afraid I find this one a bit weak and forgettable. It didn’t really stand out amongst the other submissions that much.
