I can see that these kind of blogs aren't too common anymore, but anyways: I decided to join Stars (my first game in almost 7 years) because I heard it had changed so much and I was curious to find out.
To my surprise the game is still pretty much the same and it seems like the only game that still has some spark to it.
Joining with an old bestie I knew target would be on us soon enough, and I was right about that since we were counters for 14th. It ended up being a split, and I avoided the block, I also avoided the block for 12th. My name started being tossed around for 15th, so I knew I'd be a counter soon enough and focused on my social game.
Gameplay-wise I feel like I do deserve to stay: Most of my sets have gone through and I've been able to make moves and keep my social game intact so far. I feel like if I get the chance to return, tables will turn indeed.
