Keeping in the inactive...

Feb 2, 2010 by thatmadlass
Is that a technique or something?  Both games I've been booted out the first time I was up for nomination.  I was very active in both games and in the most recent I was the only person to talk in like 10 hours!  So what's the deal?  I was up against people where it looks like they haven't even logged in!  They are up for nomination every time because there not playing the games yet are kept in.  I usually base my votes on activity - am I missing the boat?

It's either a plot or I smell...

It's strategy. Inactives don't do challenges. Therefore they are always nominated. Therefore you have less a chance of being nominated.

Yeah its a strategy, I always get booted out first chance people get cause I make an effort to talk... and even when I don't I get targetted for being a "threat"
seen my record??? LOL

I know how you're feeling.  Been there.  I've seen it happening in my latest game.  A few hours ago I experienced myself. Oh, well, not the end of the world.

I guess people think not about who deserves to get into a higher place but on who is strong and who is weak.  If you seem like you have friends, that means you have a shot against your competitors.  If you're absent and friendless, people can take you.  I understand that.  I understand the algorythm is less in control with the new rules they have.  But in the past the weak people would have been knocked out by the algorythm.  So it was better to send out someone strong, than someone who is gonna be out of your hair anyway.
