Last time on Survivor, at La Flor, Sash was gloating about his complete success, but Marty planned to get even. Over at Espada, Kelly S and Fabio discussed strategy for the upcoming merge. The challenge was messy and grueling, and La Flor came out on top. Marty tried to look for the idol, but to no avail. Shannon plotted to get out his nemesis Fabio, to which Yve reluctantly agreed. At the immunity challenge, it was a close race, but Espada came out on top, sending La Flor to tribal council. At La Flor, Marty created a fraud hidden immunity idol, and bluffed to Sash his head was on the chopping block. He believed it, and took the fake idol. At tribal council, Sash shocked everyone with his authentic looking idol, sending the arrows pointing at him. After being humiliated by playing his fake, Sash was blindsided from La Flor, and sent home angry at Marty. 12 are left, who will be voted out tonight?
EPISODE
At La Flor, Marty is pumping his arms in the air in complete triumph over eliminating his enemy Sash. He dances around in utter joy, causing the tribe to roll their eyes in annoyance. Brenda is concerned because she eliminated her own ally unwittingly, and goes off to figure out how to overcome any sort of odds. Jimmy J is happy that Sash is gone, and he goes off to catch some food for the tribe. He comes back with nothing but a face full of sea water and a amused tribe. Wendy wonders if the merge will be approaching soon.
At Espada, the tribe awoked joyed from their tribleless night. Kelly S went off to capture food for her tribe, to prove that women are just as good hunters as men. Much to everyone's shock, she came back with 2 wild chickens she caught with her crudely made spear. Shannon rolled his eyes and vented in private at how Kelly S was showing him up. Fabio is thinking about exactly what to do, should the tribes merge.
Both of the tribes received tree mail to come to the middle of the beach where the camps met, sounding as if it was a reward challenge. Much to everyone's shock, the tribes were merged, being given a red flag, red paint, new red buffs and guide to a new camp where a feast would await them. The 12 castaways traveled to their new camp, where they were told to come up with a name for the merged tribe. Tyrone suggested the name "Guerrero", which is Spanish for "Warrior". The 11 others agreed, pigging out on a feast of meats, vegetables, fruit, bread, and candy, along with beer. Shannon got extremely tipsy and started behaving erratically, causing the tribe to laugh at his antics. Marty pulled aside Fabio and promised that if he join his allegiance, he will promise him with F3. Fabio decided to listen to Marty, but asked who was the first target. Marty stated he wanted to eliminate Tyrone immediatly, as he was very strong, but also widely detested by Marty. Not seeing any reason to disagree, Fabio jumped on board. He then ran to Kelly S and asked her if she was ok with this, to which she agreed. Fabio then asked Marty who the target would be if Tyrone won immunity, to which the latter stated would be Yve. Meanwhile, Yve was exploring the new campsite with Shannon, who said he wanted to eliminate Fabio before anyone else. Yve stated it would be a good time, as it was the merge and Fabio was relatively strong, as well as popular with everyone. Fabio was meanwhile capturing fish with Kelly S' spear, and came back with 3 eels. The tribe attempted to eat them, but detested the taste. Benry was attempting to figure out who to align with. His former ally Fabio, or Shannon's crew. Yve told Benry that if he joined, then he would be promised F3. The excited Benry did not want to pass down this oppurtunity, and decided to jump ship to Yve. Meanwhile, Kelly B was trying to construct a wooden canoe, but after trying to tie the pieces together, it fell apart. Shannon suggested building a raft instead, to which Kelly B agreed. After the raft was constructed, the two went out fishing. While on the raft, Shannon asked Kelly B if she wanted to blinside Fabio, to which the latter was shocked. She asked the reason, and Shannon explained that Fabio had betrayed the allegiance by aligning with Kelly S. Kelly B decided she didn't want to be targeted for an attempted rebellion, so she agreed, though a bit reluctantly. Later that day Jane was relaxing in the shelter, when Marty approached her and asked if she wanted to join his allegiance. She stated that she would if she would earn something in return. Marty bluffed to Jane that he would take her to the final 3 if she were to help him, to which Jane estatically agreed.
IMMUNITY CHALENGE.
The contestants hiked to the river where Jeff was standing on a floating raft. He explained that the contestants would now be competing for individual immunity and explained the challenge. The contestants would be standing on a floating raft in the water, where the last person remaining would earn immunity. He also added stipulation, stating he would tempt the contestants with food and drinks every so often, and that if any of them wanted to step down, they could. The challenge then began, where Shannon was the first to fall into the murky river at just 21 minutes into the challenge. Jane was the next to go, after Jeff offered her buffalo wings and beer, 67 minutes into the challenge. At 89 minutes into the challenge, Kelly S' bikini bottom fell off, exposing her genitals. Extremely embarrassed, she covered her crotch with one of her hands, blushing bright red. Fabio was distracted by Kelly S' parts, ad slipped off, 103 minutes into the challenge. Deciding that it would be futile to continue with only half her clothing, Kelly S slipped off her top, competing in the challenge nude. In order to distract the men, she danced around on the pole, causing a distracted Benry to slip off. Jeff then announced if anyone wanted to step off, he would give them a bacon cheeseburger, with fries and a coke. Extremely hungry, Kelly B decided to jump off and enjoyed her food on the shore. Later in the challenge, Kelly S felt a great need to urinate, but not wanting to step down, she lifted her leg up and urinated into the water, disgusting the other compeititors. Brenda was so appalled by this, that she lost her balance and fell into the water. Eventually, the challenge was down to Yve, Kelly S, and Tyrone. Yve jumped off when offered oreos and milk. For the next 50 minutes, Kelly S and Tyrone fought rigorously, though Tyrone finally gave out after losing his tight grip, granting Kelly S individual immunity. She grabbed the necklace excited, and then covered her breasts and crotch, as the contestants walked back to camp.
Back at Guerrero, Kelly S asked Fabio for her spare leopard fur bikini. He handed it to her and she changed into it. She then spoke to him, stating that they needed to make sure neither of them were voted out. She told him to create a realistic looking faux idol, which would hopefully remove the target from his back. Fabio ran into the jungle, hoping to create a somewhat realistic looking idol. Using woods, rocks, string, etc, he fashioned the bluff and stuffed it into his pocket. While Shannon was collecting rocks he spotted Fabio, with the fake idol in his pocket. Believing it to be a real one, he decided that he needed to re-think his plans. Shannon darted to Yve and explained what happaned, and she suggested voting out Kelly B., due to the sympathy she would garner if she were to reach the end. Shannon started to lobby votes against her, and when Kelly B. saw him speaking to Benry near the well, she became suspicious. Shannon lied to her that he wanted to vote out Fabio and that she could join him. Kelly B. bought into his bluff and ran off happily.
Previously on Survivor! Shannon was furious at Yve's blindside, yet he along with his arch enemies Kelly S and Fabio, had no choice but to try to get on Yve's good side. At La Flor, Marty spotted Sash's fake immunity idol on Jimmy J, and planned to split the votes in order to flush it out. At the immunity challenge, both tribes were informed that they would both go to tribal council. Kelly S won individual immunity for Espada in shocking fashion, while Jimmy J, the most unlikely man to win a challenge, won individual immunity for La Flor. Over on Espada, standing at a crossroads, Yve choose to align herself with the 3 youngins, knowing that they'd have no choice but to accept. But on La Flor, Sash scrambled when Jimmy J was would about the fake immunity idol, and tried to get in Wendy onto the La Flor side. At tribal council, Yve once again shocked the tribe when she aligned herself with the old La Flor, sending Jimmy T packing. It was then Espada's turn, and despite Jimmy J, Holly, and Marty throwing Sash under the bus, Jimmy J and Wendy stayed true, sending Holly home. 14 are left. With the merge close by, who will be voted out tonight?
Episode
At Espada, Shannon was relieved that Jimmy T. was voted out and that he, Fabio and Kelly S would get another day in the game. Yve was scared about the potential chaos that could unleash from her decision and she pondered about who to vote out. Fabio was estatic that he and Kelly S. were still in the game. They both shared another kiss and frolicked together on the beach. Kelly S told Fabio to jump back to the youngins when the tribes merge. He agreed.
At La Flor, Sash was thrilled he took out Marty's only ally. Marty was panicking about how to stay in the game and decided to get revenge for losing Holly. Jimmy J. was angry at Sash for his deception and argued with him about it. The two continously bickered until Sash walked off angrily. The tribe was annoyed by this and decided to collect firewood.
REWARD CHALLENGE
At the reward challenge, they would be playing for a cruise around Nicaragua in a yacht, along with food and drink. The challenge was a good ole fashioned tug of war in the mud. It was the challenge from Guatemala. Everyone would be strapped together and try to get to the other side of the mud course. In the event of nobody making it in 10 minutes, they'd go to 1v1 match ups in a best of 5 series. Just like Guatemala, it went to the tiebreaker matchups after 10 minutes. Jimmy J scored the first point for La Flor in a matchup against Yve. Marty easily scored point #2 against Fabio when Fabio confidently lost his grip. Shannon seemed to start up a comeback as in round 3, he soundly beat Marty. Round 4 had Jane beat Brenda, which surprised alot of people. Finally, it was the final round. For this round, La Flor choose Marty to return, and Espada choose Shannon to return as well. But in the end, after a hard fought battle, Marty barely edged Shannon out when the time limit expired, giving La Flor the win.
Later on, La Flor was on the yacht, enjoying their feast. But as they were feasting, Marty noticed something. He had noticed a piece of parchment that blended in with the color of the basket holding the whine bottles. Fortunately, he managed to obtain it, and in private, he found out that it was indeed a clue to another hidden immunity idol. He tried to keep his excitement hidden and waited until they returned to camp to go on a hunt for the idol.
Back at Espada, as Kelly S carried the firewood back, her contact lenses ended up falling out on the way back to camp. As such,it ended up being lost in the sand, unable to be found. As such, she had to wear the reading glasses she packed with her as backup. This actually seemed to make Fabio like her even more, as the glasses seemed to make her seem much more intelligent.
On La Flor, Marty was in eager search of the idol. The clue said it was something in the rivers around the camp area. But as he searched, the clue ended up falling out of his pocket. As such, Brenda of all people picked it up. Marty ended up giving up his search, but her retrieving the clue gave her, and Sash a chance to keep their footing by finding the real immunity idol.
At Espada, Shannon was hacking mindlessley at firewood, thinking about what to do for the next elimination, if Espada is to go to tribal. He pulled Yve aside and told her he wanted to hav a discussion about who to elimination. He went on, saying he'd like to get out Fabio if they lose, as he's a jury threat and a physical threat come merge. Yve was irritaited at the plan, but decided to just go with it. Meanwhile, Kelly S and Fabio were cuddling in the shelter, giggling and laughing, and sharing more kisses.
Back at La Flor, the whole tribe, minus Brenda went swimming in the oceam. Knowing this would be the perfect time to find the idol, Brenda went on a rabid snipe hunt, tearing the entire camp apart to find it. However, Brenda could not come out on top and came out empty handed.
Immunity Challenge
One at a time, 4 members from each tribe would race out into the ocean and swim to a floating platform. They would then climb a ladder and use a club to smash a tile that had a key attached to it. They would grab the key and the three other members would do the same. After all 4 keys are collected, one person from each tribe will run to a crate containing 4 locks. They would unlock the locks and release 4 tribe colored balls. The final person would smash 7 tiles. First tribe to smash all their tiles, wins immunity. The swimmers for La Flor were Benry, Brenda, Marty and Wendy, while for Espada, the swimmers were Fabio, Kelly S, Shannon and Jane. La Flor took an early lead on the swimming leg despite Benry slowing things down a bit. Despite this, Espada gained momentum when Yve; the ball unlocker for Espada was able to unlock the bags faster than Jimmy J, the ball unlocker for La Flor. Everything came down to Sash, who was knocking the balls for La Flor, and Tyrone, who was knocking the balls for Espada. With a one tile difference, Espada prevailed and won immunity.
Back at Espada, everyone was extremely happy about the crucial victory. The two lovebirds Fabio and Kelly S decided to go off into a mud pit Kelly S had found while on Espada. They discussed their happiness over surviving another round and cuddled closely together. Shannon was extremely thrilled over remaining in the game and danced around with the immunity idol in his hands, stating he hasn't felt this secure since the tribal swap.
Over at La Flor, the tribe was both depressed and irritaited by their narrow defeat. Sash was especially furious and kicked the sand angrily, cursing at his tribe for the loss, while it was really his fault. Marty ignored him, and decided he would unearth the idol no matter how diicicult it would be. He searched near the rivers, by the large cliff, in the well, until he finally retrieved it in a very tall tree. Dancing frivolously, he hatched a nefarious plan. He would trick convince Sash the tribe wanted to vote him out, making hm behave obnoxiously. He would craft a fake idol, give Sash the bluff, and Sash would use it, sending him home. He ran to a rock in the jungle and started crafting the idol. He finished it, then ran to Sash, lying about his supposed fate. Sash moronically bough into it and took Marty's fake idol, believing it to be the real one. Marty secretely told the rest of the tribe about Sash having the idol, which made them decide he should be the target. Sash wanted to vote out Jimmy J, who was starting to distrust him. Jimmy J was unsure about the vote, merely hoping he would survive another round.
At tribal council, Jeff asked what was most important at this stage of the game. Brenda said she thought that until the merge was official, strength was the most important componant. Marty disagreed, stating he felt like trust was important, stating he believed La Flor was not a united enough tribe. Baffled by his response, Jimmy J criticized Marty because he was not the loyal type in his opinion. Angered, Marty told Jimmy J that he was no better, while the later rebuffed, stating he never doublecrossed a single person so far. Jeff then asked Sash how he felt about his position in the game, to which he stated he felt uneasy, as "a little birdy" told him that someone was planning on voting him out. The entire tribe rolled their eyes at Sash, to which Jeff asked Wendy the reason. Wendy stated that according to Marty, Sash was in possesion of the hidden immunity idol. Angered, Sash repeadetly denied he had the idol to Wendy, leading to a prolonged confrontation between the two. Wendy asked Sash to prove whether he had the idol or not, to which Sash whipped out the bluff, albeit with the rest of the tribe, minus Marty buying into it. Marty chuckled to himself. Jeff announced it was time to vote, and everyone voted. Just before the votes were about to be announced, Sash stood up, made a speech stating: "I'm not letting you buzzards get my torch snuffed! I have the lucky charm, and one of you morons is paying!" He smugly walked up to Jeff, believing he would be immune. But much to his horror, disgust, embarrasment and anger, Jeff revealed the idol was a fraud, causing the rest of the tribe to break out into uncontrollable laugher. Jeff threw the fake idol into the fire, then announced the votes. In the end, Sash was blindsided by his tribe 6-1, and walked away angrily, middle fingering Marty, while calling him "A pathetic excuse for a man". The mirthed La Flor tribe then traversed back to camp.
