She stands behind you
All the memories coming back,
tears rise to the surface
A smile is lacked.

A deprived young woman
who is stubborn and strong
starts becoming weak
It doesn't take long.

That one phrase heard
broke her heart in two
Confusion becomes life,
Not sure what to do.

She decides to take off
Not sure where to stay
Her parents become worried,
not sure what to say.

Becoming insecure,
She ignores all the pain
As drugs and alcohal
begin to fill her veins.

Everything turns black
Her heart becomes cold
She starts forgetting quickly
everything she was told.

She starts wanting fixed
but why fix what isnt broken
slowly she remembers
Every word that was spoken.

She begins to hate herself
snd everything that shes done
She becomes disapointed
And pulls out ehr gun.

She waves the world goodbye,
knowing what to figure
And with a look in the mirror
She began to pull the trigger.

Tears stream to her face
She began to think
And in between cries
she found the missing link.

She began to realize
throughout all the sobs
the missing piece to the puzzle
was the one and only god.

the gun falls out of her hand
as she falls to her knees to pray
"Lord forgive me of my sins
and please take the pain away"

The gravel starts to crumble
as a new road was paved
and forever she'll remember
the day that she got saved. <3
