Why has it taken til JUST NOW to want to try to stop school shooting and give it so much publicity. Usually when there’s a school shooting it’s talked about for a day or two But this last one has been talked about for a week. And they have decided just now to take actions

I personally think it's the kids. Usually, people say it's "too soon" to talk gun control or say we need to let these people and their families grieve. However, now the kids and parents that experienced this aren't calling for more time they're actually calling for change. Idk.
