I was told for an immunity challenge to create a blog, so I decided to get an important issue out there...tipping. Just incase some of u do not working the service industry o do not pay your own bills yet. It is important that u know the rule of tipping. If your server does a good job and what is asked of them u should tip 20%!!!! If they do bad u should leave 18, if they go above and beyond please tip over. Few people do this. AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE IS IT ACCEPTABLE TO TIP BELOW 10%! 15% is the lowest I would go. Tips is how people make a living, bartenders and servers do not make an actual hourly wage. Plus they usually have to tip out other employees (i.e. bar n bussers) So when u stiff them with a bad table, they r paying for your table... n if u think your that important some1 should pay 2 wait on u then your stupid. If you can’t afford a tip do not order expensive things or go get fast food. Because u r trashy and gross. n should not be seen out in a public establishment! Remember they r the ones who have complete control of what happens to your food from when it leaves the kitchen until it arrives at your table. So u should probably treat them with respect and tip appropriately...u r no better than them, they r just working to make a living like the rest of us...
I have been a server for the past few years so I agree with you 100000%! Alot of people out there SUCK at tipping! If you give good service,then you should tip NO LESS than 20%! Us servers work alot harder than most they we do! It really is a hard job but most people don't think so!
i agree with you except when the waitor/waitress have attitudes the whole time you never have anything to drink and they are talking to ppl they work with in stead of waiting on you and yes even then around 15 is what you suppose to tip
