imageAmerican Idol is making me mad!!

Reviews:

CJ Harris - His performance just didn't do it for me. Coming from such a powerful outing last week, I was hoping he wouldn't suck. But he did. He should have been in the Bottom 3, and he should have been eliminated. He should be in danger next week. At least, hopefully.

Alex Preston - While I hate this WGWG douchebag, this was unquestionably his best performance, and one of the best of the night. I feel like he'll win, unfortunately.

Jena Irene Asciutto - Jena's one of my favorites, and she delivered a strong performance. I'm not a huge fan of electronic music, and this wasn't as strong as "Decode." It was still great, though I would have appreciated a little more range. Nevertheless, it was quite strong, and her vocals were again superb. Everyone thought she was in danger, so maybe she's not as secure as I thought she was.

MK Nobilette - The beginning of MK's song was beautiful, but she quickly fell. Unfortunately, she was rightfully eliminated after being in the Bottom 3 twice before. I didn't mind MK, and she was a strong singer, but she wasn't a performer. Quite a vocalist, however.

Dexter Roberts - I hate bro-country, and Dexter is stereotypically bro-country. Therefore, it was no surprise he picked the most bro-country song out there, Cruise. Honestly, it wasn't awful. However, it was poor. He deserved to be in the Bottom 3. His appearance there made me realize he isn't as locked in the competition as I thought.

Sam Woolf - Coming back from a Bottom 3 appearance, Sam gave a good performance. I don't know what was wrong last week. I rather enjoyed "Come Together." Additionally, he's got the teen girl vote. We need him to beat McDouchebag (Alex). Sam, unfortunately, has proven to be vulnerable, while Alex hasn't.

Jessica Meuse - I've kinda stepped away from my initial favorite when her performances got somewhat weaker. I was leaning more towards Jena, but, "Pumped Up Kicks" got me back to my happy median. This was a strong performance. Chilling. Beautiful. I didn't mind her smiling through the performance, however. I hope she sticks around, and I feel she will.

Caleb Johnson - I'm pleased he has stepped away from his over-the-top rock performances. I enjoyed "Skyfall" and "Edge of Glory" much more than "Working Man." He's a powerful vocalist, and he hasn't been in the Bottom 3 yet, so maybe he can beat Alex.

Majesty Rose York - I don't understand why she's been in the Bottom 3 twice now! She has a beautiful voice! Sure, she flubbed with "Let It Go," but her performance of "Wake Me Up" was beautiful! Get on board, America! Seriously! Unfortunately, I feel she shall be next.

Malaya Watson - Malaya has proven herself to be better than the girl that sang "Runaway Baby" in the first week. She has a big, beautiful voice. "When I Was Your Man" was the best performance of Top 10 hits. It was perfect.

Favorites?

Jessica
Jena
Malaya
Majesty

^^^ two J's and two M's

Least favorites?

Dexter
Alex

Who's in the middle?

Caleb
Sam
CJ

Who SHOULD be eliminated next?

CJ - He's given consistently weak performances, save movie night. He doesn't deserve to be in the Top 8, so he should go.

Who do I THINK will be eliminated next?

Majesty - Majesty climbed some with the votes, only being in the Bottom 3 this week, rather than Bottom 2, but she's obviously doing something wrong, unfortunately.

Thanks for reading! Any Idol fans??
