Punk/Emo/Hardcore Unity- follow up

Feb 10, 2012 by pennywisealfie
In 2010, I had the pleasure of coming upon Tengaged and despite a few hiccups here and there, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Admittedly, I have had long periods of doing nothing on the site, but on an overall scale, my Tengaged experience has been a good one. Whether it be getting $5 on Deal or no Deal or muting my computer while failing through a version of Guitar Hero with a really bad Katy Perry song playing throughout or even strategizing in fastings.

However, somethings not right. I feel like I am one of a kind on this site and I don't want to be. I feel like there is noone else on this site that is like me. I have tried looking, as evidenced by my first ever blog post:

[[[[[[[[[During my very limited time spent within the Tengaged community, I've noticed that there seems to be a distinct lack of Punk people on the site. Or is there? Maybe buried beneath all the Big Brother obsessed people, Irritatingly fashionable designs and blogs about god knows what lays a Punk Rock community within the Tengaged community. Am I yet to find it? Or is this blog a way of finding one?

I want to join a Castings game and talk about music, the music I listen to. I want to go onto the designs section and see Punk Rock clothing. I want a Tengaged Punk Rock community. If you're into Punk/Hardcore/Emo or even Ska then let me know. Let's punk this community up! ]]]]]]]]]

Now after I typed up these words, I expected a little love from my mohawked or fringed friends, but noone. Not a single person, until recently when my buddy ambii strolled onto my blog and posted an encouraging "Hellz yes".

This gave me hope. It had been a year since I posted the original blog. In a year there could have been all types of coloured haired, tattoeoed, pierced people join this here website.

So I'm calling out to you! If you enjoy the tones, of Punk, Hardcore, Emo, Ska or even Metal, holla at cha boy.
