serious question for those that have been cheated on

It's been a year since... And I haven't mended one bit.
Not even a little.
I'm.more scared of dating and trusting men then I have been my whole life.
All advice welcome.

I wasn't physically cheated on but my ex attempted to... long story LOL. However it never really affected how I viewed dating. Still remained optimistic! I say just maybe go for guys who don't possess the same qualities as your ex did. Branch out
