I was on msn earlier and one of my friends asked me if I was doing much today, I answered no - as for reasons I don't really want to go into, I like to spend my birthday's alone - and he told me to not go out between 4-6 so I was like "okay" and they went offline.
So then at fiveish I answer the door to see this friend an other standing at my door soaked from head to toe and up to their tits in Tupperware, after inviting them in they opened the boxes and told me that they had spent all day baking and in the boxes there were sixteen different home-made cakes, all individually iced with the things I love, including a Michael Jackson cake, a Pacman cake and a err... swine flu cake.
It was so nice for me as for the last couple of years I haven't spent my birthday with any friends or extended family (apart from one funeral) and they broke the cycle :) and we sat and bitched about my ex for a couple of hours. It was so lovely.
