Friday my 4 year old daughter had to go into surgery to have her tonsils taken out. This is an experience I never want to have to experience again. Pre surgery while waiting to go back she did real well. They gave her a bear that was dressed in scrubs, she got to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. All was well. The anesthisiologist came in and asked her if she could blow up a balloon for him (this is what they tell little kids when they put the mask on to put them to sleep). After that she was then wheeled out away from me and into the hands of a surgeon. Waiting for it to be over was nerve wrecking. I knew she was going to be ok but I was nervous. They finally called me back when she woke up. Walking into where she was broke my heart. My little girl was sitting up with tears running down her face. She kept coughing and she kept crying and it was seriously the most painful thing I have had to witness. Tears started forming in my own eyes and I broke down. I held her and cried in her shoulder. It was sad. They wheeled her into phase 2 and she would not get out of her bad. She wouldnt get into the chair they had so they had to wheel the bed into the make shift recovery room. I had to beg her to take the pain medicine, and finally she passed out. We got discharged, and when we got home she was her old normal self. I was expecting her to be out of commission for a couple of days. But she is doing so well. This is why I haven't been on the site very much these past two days. I'm hoping to be back full time Monday. My mom will be here and will help me. So anyone PM wanting to do a game i will be available then :))
