Charity Games NEED to go

Nov 18, 2013 by larry141094
Hey everyone. I've been on Tengaged for many years, i've seen many different things pop up here and there. But nothing is more game breaking than going into a charity game.

For those who don't know, a charity game is where a big group of people enter rookies and essentially make sure one person (the charity case) wins. Meanwhile people in the know all bet on said charity case. Why is this such an issue you ask? It's an issue because many of these people (like in the rookies im currently playing) are quite leveled up and have plenty of $T. For people like me who don't have very much, it is extremely frustrating, it's not like there's 20 rookies running at once to choose from, these people hijack the game and suck any kind of fun and strategy out of it completely.

I've reported the problem to Tengaged and i hope it gets stamped out.

You can have a charity game when you work to it. You won't be saying that when it's your 100th game.

Also, they worked their asses off to get those levels. So fuck this shit. No.

So just because one person gets to 100 games they get to cash farm and rip everyone else off? Love that mentality right there

^yes,if they have friends who will join, charities are a part of tg now,and it's a win-win,they get ts from winning everyone gets ts from betting

Everyone except the people playing and can't bet... It's not a win win at all, it's a win for everyone except people who want to play the game.

but those people joined to help, they are usually friends of the charity maker.
they joined cause they wanted to

Know what you feel, though. :)
But, you'll get used to and like these games as you stay longer.

Like, which means you won't feel the same anymore.

That's missing my point completely. They're inconveniencing everyone else who payed their hard earned $T on going into the game. ffs it wouldn't matter at all if i could bet and at least get the $T back. But there's a better solution for this kind of thing. I think they need to allow people to gift $T to each other so they don't ruin the game

People that go into the game usually go in to help eg. their friends though?! You wouldnt usually enter a game if it was a charity unless you wanted to help.

Charities are something people do for their friends, which is nice, to help them out. They don't have to say yes, but most people don't mind spending some virtual/imaginary value to help out a friend.
You can, however, check the game before you join(: if you go to the games tab, then on the right hand side there's a list of filling games. Before joining a frookies or rookies I recommend checking that so that you don't enter a charity(: hope that helps

@Mia 595 My problem with that Mia is if there's only one game open then that inconveniences me. There are a lot of people that don't know this, i certainly didn't know of its existence until today either. There will be a big problem if every game turns into a charity game
