Spends around 3 billion more on average than any country on its military infrastructure
We have one of the largest most well equip standing armies in the world to respond to an invasion of external or internal threats. The founding fathers included the right to bear arms because in that time period America needed everyday citizens to participate in militia duty and they basically defended our country that way. I really do not see why American citizens should have the right to bear arms when historically our countries suffers from a significant amount of mass murder shootings. Now I understand the counter-argument millions of Americans have about how it is an enable Constitutional right of their country. However, if that is the case we need severely strict gun laws. No person should need to have 12 rifles unless America is undergoing a zombie Apocalypse
