Hi im kilko as some peole on hear know i have to attend dialysis and for the people who dont know what that is, it means that if your kidneys are failing or you only have one kidney that is functioning less than 25% then you need a machine to help you kidneys perform their jobs correctly and so about 8 months ago i was hit by a car who had a drunk driver in it and i was rushed into surgry at the hospital streght away and the doctors told me that i only had one kidey left as the other one had to be removed because it was so adly damaged from the accident and so a month after the recovery i was carrying out my daily life when i collapsed and had to be rushed back to hospital again and it was then the doctors found out that my other kidney was failing trying to perform the job of the right one and so i was left with one option to start dialysis and i attend it 6hrs everyday for 7 days a week and i will have to carry out this treatment till they find me a new kidney but the thing is i was called by my doctor at the early hours of one monring with bad news the dialysis was not working meaning that with no other kidney to help the left one i would eventually die and so waiting for this new kidney is like waiting for another day to pass you dont know what your going to do in that day but you just do the things you do and it is from a drunk driver that im living my life on a machine and so i would like to warn you all always look for oncoming traffic because even though i did and i thought the car was going to stop at the traffic lights it never did so always wait for the cars to stop before you cross the road.
