When i was about 6 months old i moved to this little town in northern Pennsylvania. At the time Tyler was my neighbor at only 5 years old. Through the years we grew up together exploring the wonders of life and having so much fun.
I still remember those first years when Tyler was the only boy i considered talking to that did not have "cooties". He was quite the little devil when he was young always playing tricks on me and my sister. I would spend hours with him doing everything we thought of. From playing survivor and having to cross the yard without touching the ground, to making disgusting foods that were inedible and still trying to eat them anyway. we continued this way until the past couple of months.
I always knew the day would come when my best friend/older brother would leave and go into the world becoming an adult, but i spent alot of my time trying not to think about it. In the biginning of april i was given the news that in about 2 months my hero was leaving. It was now his time to spread his wings and fly. The past two months have been hell because i did not want him to go, but now i have realised that this is what he has always wanted. At 4 thismorning Tyler took the first steps of living on his own. He got in his new mustang and is now on his way to Florida to persue his education and get a degree in nutrition. Today is the day i never wanted to face and now that it is here it is almost unreal. I dont want it to happen, but it is.
I just wanted to say congratulations in making it this far and i will miss you. You are my hero and my lifestyle guru and you will always be there even if it is a 30 second walk away or 20 thousand miles away. As you leave me now, i wish you the best of luck and i hope our memories stay strong. i love you
