The contestants hear the starting gong and run off. The Career alliance is quickly made by @dragotistic, @Giga5, @Alyxandra, @slushpuppy123, @ecologydude and @TBIbetch. They scurry to find weapons but most of them had been taken.
@zimy runs off into the woods with nothing. She didn't know that she was being followed by the Careers. @Alyxandra quickly throws a knife at her, stabbing her in the hip. She fell to the ground, quicky grabbed the knife, and put herself out of her misery.
@sethbenjamin had teamed up with @SilverLizard. They had a spear and a bag of dried fruit that they stole from @slushpuppy123 when she was not looking. They heard the gong and tried to look for the reamains of @zimy to see if she had anything good.
@Mrkkkkyle and @HaileyGail had teamed up, even though all that they had was a sleeping bag which they had decided to share.
By this time, it was night. The Careers were hunting and they found what they were looking for...
