I don't get some football refs. My kid plays JV football (7th grade) and they played last night.
The first 6 times we played we lost every game and didn't score one point in any of the games. Last night we finally got a touchdown to try and tie the score against a tough opponent and my son's friend spiked the ball in the end zone and got a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty by the stupidass ref. Pushed us to a place we couldnt get the extra point and lost the game 8-6. WTF? these are kids!!! just felt like venting

right! i can see if he threw the ball at the ref (wish he would have) or a member of the other team, or if he stripped naked and did a dance, but cmon...even spiking is allowed in the nfl!! this is pee wee football
