honestly the only thing i would change is make her E being able to proc Q again, make her R the old speed - it was way faster - and DELETE THE FUCKING "once akali casts R on someone she dashes 50 units in front of him" which makes me miss ALL my fucking auto attacks
katarinaducouteau @donaaam this is just going to make her a more burst annoying champ. Her biggest problem isn’t what they think it is. They need to give her more wave clear. She has no pressure in solo lanes unless she can kill. With the current state of midland she won’t be killing a ruse a malz or a Zoe or ori. Unless ahead she applies almost no pressure and then also hard falls off in late game team fights especially with this tankish meta that seems to be coming back. Not to mention her getting two shot by hyper carries. If they don’t fix her waveclear problems I don’t think it will matter
Koolness234 Lol as long as I got items I personally don't have a problem killing a Zoe or an Orianna, it takes seconds, Malza is pretty hard bc of his shield and all that crowd control but still killable, and wave clear is okay because of the E on a short cooldown but I just can't have a good laning phase early. Like her only poke ability is her Q, and the ratio "once you throw it - once you prock it" is like 10% damage to 90% damage if you get what I mean, and I can't risk going in to proc the Q all the time. I just wish they can balance the damage like with Katarina's Q
katarinaducouteau the way the game works now you arnt going to kill a ori in 3 seconds who also has items probably zhonyas by then and she offers so much more in teamfights. Zoe probs yes. Good thing your e is on a shortcool down you have fun spamming that e while most midlaners clear the whole wave by mid game with 1 ability too. For akali to be a good midlaner she would need more wave clear she just gets outclassed so far on that end and mid is all about pressure. Also like I said other mid laners do her job but a lot safer. They can kill targets just as fast as her without having to sacrifice space. Without waveclear her best role will always be top imo nad then build her according to matchups
Koolness234 The E is on 2 second cooldown at max rank with some CDR so I'm pretty sure you can clear a wave in 4 seconds; if ori tries to ult or zhonyas just use your W and even if somebody comes he can't see you. after that you can assassinate ori and run away by ulting to a nearby camp if the circumstances are good
And she'd be a good top if she was a bit more tanky but nah to me her main role is still mid and I'm happy playing her there.
Every champion is better than another one in something and worse than him at something. Akali's role in the game is to assassinate the ADC and possibly run away while recharging, not to do massive AOE damage like Lux or wave clear like Kennen or Malzahar
Koolness234 I seriously don't think there is any champion who can clear a wave early game with one ability. Akali actually has an advantage with that, because she doesn't use mana unlike other champions
katarinaDucouteau im not talking about early game but she has shit waveclear throughout the whole game early she has to take so much damage to farm. Try last hitting while other champs can just auto you and use their abilities to poke you out. Liek an azir or other stuff then translate that to mid game while others. Also compare her to the other assassains in leageu that lane and they almost all have better waveclear then her
The thing is akali is shit if she falls behind and doesnt snowball because her killing people is her only purpose she offers little to no teamfight control no cc the only thing she offers is burst damage. The thing is with the meta right now she is so out of place with the support champs and tank meta with high mobility hyper carries. They need a massive overhaul to make her effective or a serious meta shift. She is very rarely played in pro either because of the waveclear problem and once you get past gold elo people learn to ping her missing and back off

I have no problem last hitting, mainly under turret too, but it’s because of her healing pasive
And I’m pretty sure there’s a weak aide to every chmpion - and Akali’s is she has to get kills in order to keep up, e.g. katarina - crowd control, riven - silence, adcs - not tanky enough
And I am YES for Akali rework, but there are way worse wave clearers
akali has one of the worst waveclear they need to fix that in order for her to be effective. Which is what I am pointing out literally almost every assassain at every part of the game has better waveclear for an assassain. What I was saying is when they rework her if they don’t give her waveclear options other Mobile snowball assassain a that now have waveclear ie talon, zed, Leblanc all clear waves faster and can share basically the same role. Coupled with the fact that she is primarily a 1 target champion and unless your team is standing on top of her has poor aoe. I am a yes for her rework too but making her more stealthy isn’t going to fix her main problems.
