nigerian scam 101 (dont trust them) MUST READ! Feb 27, 2011
ok. if you are wondering what a nigerian scam (or known as 4-1-9) is. how it works is that you would get a email saying about that you have to lend a person money from nigeria who needs it so they can get what they want and then they will give the remaining money back to you. well like i said ITS A SCAM. even if you send the money. they will reply that something has gone wrong and you need to sent more money to that person, and it will keep on happening. these scams are very serious and some scams will tell you that you have to go to nigeria in order to pay the money. THIS IS A VERY BAD IDEA because if you dont have the money, YOU DIE! this scam is getting very bad and i received a mail from it about that i have won money. i am from canada and i will post the mail. try to find the clues that makes it a scam and after i post it, i will tell you the clues. here it is

ok. if you want to know the clues that is the scam, i will tell you now
1. the title has nigeria in it
2. they said that they have given me 1 million united states dollars in my bank account. note: i have said this in the blog that i am a canadian so 1 million united states money wouldnt be allowed in my bank account (i think).
3. the "ONLINE MICROSOFT CORPORATION WORLD EMAIL USERS LOTTERY AWARD" is not real and if it was real, it would be for the people who won lots of money on a real and not scam lottery (like olg) and i cant buy lottery tickets since im 13 and if i did win the jackpot, it would be void since im underage
4. the amount of names said in the mail lookes suspicious because you cant say there is nine hundred thousand names from 8 parts of the world because there are many new people getting their email accounts every minute which makes it difficult to say a exact number
5. if the countries listed were continents, america and canada would be called north america
6. the Bill Gates Microsoft World Online Lottery Foundation International Promotions Program is obviously fake and why would bill gates let nigeria conduct a research when it is known for scams
7. if the program was conducted annually, wouldnt nigeria be poor
8. is there really a oceanic bank of nigeria (if there is, put it in the comments)
9. mr.Goodman White is not my manager and i never have had a manager
10. if mr.Goodman White gave them my information, wouldnt he have sended a email about it?
11. even though in the united states, you have to pay money to get money. why would you have to pay $105 to get the million, wouldnt you have to pay more than $105 to get the million.
12. there is no reciept on the email (tell me if there is a reciept in the comments because im not sure)
13. having to give your name, your adress, your phone number, your age, and your occupation to a foriegn country looks suspicious that it is a scam

that is all of the clues that i have found. if you have found any more clues that it could be a scam, put it in the comments. thank you for reading my blog and hopefully it will save you your money and your life
