I live in the UK, and there has been a total of 11 confirmed cases. A few of my friends have been off sick from school and im feeling very drousy and weak. Lots of people are coughing and sneezing and im really scared the UK is more infected than everyone thought. BBC news has been updated and has told us that over 600 people in the UK have claimed to have flu, but are still to be confirmed. Its scary isn't it?
Also, like Vessa pointed out in a comment below, this new strain has a new name, because the term 'swine' was affecting pork (pig) sales.
Swine flu- H1N1
Bird flu- H5N1 (avian influenzia)

*hides in corner*
Everyone's creating a moral panic!!!
Imagine one person in a packed train having it (at rush hour)
Everyone in the train will catch it... then they'll all go to work... they'll catch it there... and then everyone will have it! AAAAAAAAAAAH!
Theres obviously some flu transfer from human to human in the UK, but not that we should worry. The people in the UK who have it have very mild symptoms! I think this pandemic wont be as bad as the 'bird flu' ages ago.
