Sam: Hello, HoHo, and welcome to my first exclusive interview for Race to Black! How are you right now?
Ho: I am good! I have been enjoying Race to Black so far, it's been pretty fun.
Sam: For those of you who do not know, HoHo is currently in 13th place overall, and 14th place by karma. HoHo, what has been your strategy to get karma?
Ho: I just have been enjoying the games. I have been taking this experience as fun and entertaining, and not exactly strenuous. I think the more I have fun the more I want to play, which is why I have gotten so far.
Sam: I took a peek at your game and I see your castings is ending in a few hours, and you are in the Top 3 since you are not nominated. What placing do you think you'll be receiving?
Ho: Well, I am happy that I am getting at least 3rd. My goal is first. Look_Out_Behind_You has about 75 more checks than me but I have done better in challenges., and Discombobulated has done better in the challenges but I have a lot more checks. I think I will get 2nd at least, in my opinion.
Sam: And that would get you 10 karma, which would still put you quite a bit behind. Despite having the ability to buy orange or play in a (f)rookies, you have done neither of those. Why?
Ho: I am fine with being a bit behind. Let the big dogs take the lead. From experience, I know that there will be road blocks coming up.
Sam: Ah yes, the twists! Do you think the twists will really shake up the placements, or not at all? Also, do you think Johneh is being involved enough?
Ho: This edition of R2B is different because you AND your pair need to get black. It's not just about how well you can do individually, but how you can work together as a team. I haven't played frookies because I don't want to waste my T's. I don't plan on buying T's so I want to make sure that if I do play frookies, I have the best chance to get my money back. I do think that the twists will shake up the placements for at least a little bit. I hope they do, because I might be in trouble if they aren't.
Sam: Interesting, interesting. Care to disclose to us who your racing partner is?
Ho: I don't want to say because I am trying to have our identities anonymous.
Sam: That is a good strategy. It was mine too. Before my partner quit -_-. Do you think we will be surprised when we find out your identity?
Ho: Some people will be surprised. Some of the people who I have become friends with are people who don't really like me. It has been humbling to see how you can be friends with pretty much anyone on here.
Sam: What do you think of Johneh's hosting?
Ho: I think that he has done a good job with the idea. It's a lot of work for one person so I can understand why he has having a little trouble.
