So a few days ago Ryan_Jambe made a blog post about how Tengaged's domain was about to expire, so I decided to see if he was just saying that and I found this:
Domain Name: TENGAGED.COM
Registrar: DREAMHOST, LLC
Sponsoring Registrar IANA ID: 431
Whois Server: whois.dreamhost.com MORE INFO...
Referral URL: http://www.dreamhost.com
Name Server: NS1.SOFTLAYER.COM
Name Server: NS2.SOFTLAYER.COM
Status: ok http://www.icann.org/epp#OK
Updated Date: 01-feb-2014
Creation Date: 31-jan-2008
Expiration Date: 31-jan-2015
So what do you think of that?
Is it actually going to shut down? I know that when scoderk's domain expired it was gone until it was reinstated, so could we really be losing Tengaged??? What do you think?
Randomize does state that he will "never shut down Tengaged" and he was on 1 day ago. For me I believe the website will go down and Randomize will notice and boom it will be back up again. But who knows.
Cancanpiano - There's no evidence to support whether or not it has been renewed. Just from my experience I am aware that domains normally expire a week or two in advanced :)
This seems like the myths that the world is about to end...you hear it preach constantly--yet we're all still here and the end of the world hasn't hit up. #IThinkItsAllGonnaBeOkaii ^.^
cancanpiano he has 60 days to renew after expiry date and it will most likely be automatically renewed from his card because randomize is now active and asking a certain user to give him ideas. When I contacted the hosting site here is what they said:
"If an account gets suspended for non-payment it is possible that their
site will be taken down (during that 60 day time period) but there is no
particular guarantee that it will or will not."
Weren't people blowing their load over this like last year (and the year before... And the year before.....) and it ended being automatically renewed by randomize?
