Cheryl Cole absolutly smashed it with her performance of "promise this" tonight its gone straight to number 1 on itunes and will no doubt reflect the same way in the charts.
Love how the audience were going cheering so loud throughout the performance could tell how everyone was loving it so much

so hard to belive this woman had malaria just 12 weeks ago

She didnt mime you can tell her vocals were not perfect and she was breathing heavy in parts because of the high performance of dance moves

It was quite clearly mimed. And autotuned, it wasn't live, it was prerecorded. "Her vocals were not perfect" - Cheryl will NEVER have perfect vocals. I'm still recovering after the atrocity that was her Live Lounge performances

And Number 1s mean very little these days, very few Number 1s these days are actually good songs.

I didn't say mean nothing, I said mean very little. If you look at the Number 1s of this year, the vast majority are bland/generic and none of them are special really at all. Unlike some amazing songs from acts like Alicia Keys, Brandon Flowers, Kings of Leon, Florence and the Machine, Marina and the Diamonds, Ellie Goulding, The XX etc. which are all much more credible don't get #1s. It's the album that makes a true artist.
