Before I go to sleep, I just wanted to write a blog. Pretty much just saying it's impossible to forget what happened on that terrible day. I was only in 2nd grade but I remember exactly how everything went. I didn't know until I came home that day, we were released early but had no idea until I arrived home with my dad watching the TV. Anyways not going to get into my day but just wanted to say that my thoughts are with everyone who has lost someone as a result of these attacks, everyone who knows someone who is serving right now and with all our fallen heroes.
My two Uncles are/were with the NYPD (one is retired) and helped with search and rescue and the cleaning up of the site. They are definitely some of my heroes in life.
amen Chris, that was a sad day! :) I'm glad you had two great Uncles that helped. I definitely would say they are heroes, along with so many more. :) :)
