But i expect them to be smart enough to see what has been wrong and what even is currently wrong with the site. Like damn they got rid of like 1/4 of the problem aka the hackers and even then they didnt get rid of them all. There is still people cheating in comps thats being ignored because there isnt proof on the site even when screenshots are sent. People are getting around being down right awful about things with death threats and homophobic/racist behavior. Theres someone literally posting gifs of dog’s playing with their penises and yet here we sit with all this going on. I don’t expect for the new mod to be on 24/7 making sure everything is fine and shit but damn when you look at the stuff thats still going on what has really been accomplished? I’m sure they see what is going wrong/is wrong. They have been given a big task. I didn’t realize they had to fix everything in 3 Days. They are learning how to be efficient, and they will get there.
survivor101 never said they had to get everything done in 3 days. I’m just stating how most people feel at this point in time. They have a lot to do but they have known that from the start and ya its overwhelming but they took on the task and they knew how deep in a hole the site was in. Its not their fault it got that way but now its their responsibility to take care of it so ignoring the stuff that is going on is only gonna make it harder in the future.
I get it’s frustrating to have moderation, but still have no consistent and timely enforcement. What I don’t think you and a lot of people understand is that there is no “ignoring” of the issue. Sure there may be a lapse in action. I agree starting bans and not finishing all bans for offenses was not the best move, but at the same time their actions show something is being done. Sure we can plaint to the 75% of the mess that is left but let’s just be greatful someone is working on cleaning up the whole thing. I doubt they ever stopped working. They are just being more cautious in action.
survivor101 my issue with them being so cautious and not taking care of the people doing this stuff is that in the future when people do start getting banned there is gonna be even more complaining because of how nothing was done now at the start when they should be using their power to clean up. I get not taking every report seriously but there is evidence for most of the stuff out there right now and it’s definitely not fair those people are still around. Ya its been a couple of days of mods but people should be mature enough that they can straighten up in a short period of time and not act as if moderation is a joke.
I agree, Justice is being delayed and has been for a long time on this site. Many people who are notorious cheaters are still active. I’m sure they have plenty of evidence to put a lot of them away, and I have to be honest I don’t know why they haven’t. I think the bottom line is they are working as fast and as hard as they can and that should be enough for everyone to calm down and let them work. It’s only been 3 days, it’s probably only one person, heck it’s probab rando himself, so how much has he really even done timewise? It’s hard to find effective moderation, and staffing as well as judgement will be issues that take time. They will get over this lull soon I hope.
