While I get that argument, being nominated gives you the opportunity to communicate with the public and see how they feel about you. So it may not be good gameplay, it is smart gameplay. Because the problem with Stars is the actual gameplay happens on Skype and there's no audience watching, so we can just guess what's really happening, especially since people like to lie and exaggerate what they have done. XD
Going unnommed can mean you're the ultimate gameplayer, or you were just irrelevant/considered an easy survival if someonw is nominated with you and due to some drama at the end, you avoided going up at the end.
So yeah, that's my problem with Stars and why I don't vote based on "gameplay" because it's all bull-poop.
