Wow you are totally swayed by the mass media aren't you? Marijuana/Cannabis can be used to create energy similar to oil, thus it can be used to create fuel. I bet you didn't know that. I did psychology and sociology papers on why marijuana should be legalized. You pulling in marijuana and death penalty is a red herring into your argument, thus a fallacy. You are clearly grabbing at straws.
Harsh punitive and retributive forms of justice don't solve a thing. Also, a majority of crimes is property crime. In Canada, the statistic is that 11/12% of crime is violent crime, but they also fail to tell you that the crime rate is declining. Not only in Canada, but elsewhere.
