In high school by some recruiters, usually I ignore them but this time I had nothing to do and kinda wanted to converse w them
I told them why I hated the military and I would never join because I was afraid to die
They were like well you should be proud of dying for your country but I told them that I waz more afraid of dying by the hands of the military itself; people in command or the other members because as a person of color I can EASILY be targeted by the several racist the military has AND I told them that men in the military are are high risk of being raped ( statistically men in the military remain silent about the incidents bc of shame )
Now that this whole Vanessa Guillen tragedy is happening I really feel soo good about telling them that
I hope the mother of vanessa gets all she deserves for her daughter and gets soo many people involved in this prosecuted #JusticeForVanessaGuillen
