Short bio (life before the virus hit): former actress known for her work in Disney Channel original musicals. since then she turned to drugs, but has since reformed. she recently has turned to journalism where she does work in Gotcha journalism exposing cults in the city. she is no nonsense and strong willed, and thinks she can outsmart ALL the other girls, but her work in exposing cults has made her become a hyper paranoid conspiracy theorist, who predicted the apocalypse in 2018.

Short bio (life before the virus hit): Zane is currently in college on a scholarship for swimming at a local state school and is originally from Hawaii where he left his adopted family of two brothers and a sister. Being the oldest by a few years, he set the example and always felt isolated. Arriving at college he joined a fraternity, but sometimes feels like there is something waiting out in the world for him. He's studying international relations and hopes to work at an embassy. He thinks he's bisexual, but has never felt solid in the world and is afraid to commit to labels.

Short bio (life before the virus hit): She has been breeding Bichon Frise dogs since she was a young woman, and always has at least half a dozen in the house. Every day at tea time, she has a little gin and tonic and shares the shrimp cocktail with her dogs. She has two estranged sons who no longer wish to speak to her, and she's never met her grandchildren. The dogs are her life and at 84 she still walks them every day, albeit a little slower than before. She keeps a good eye on the neighbours and has the city bylaw office on speed-dial just in case.
