Me: Ok man ill be right there
Jerry: I think i killed him!!! :o
As of 2009 6,000 died and over half a million injured due to texting and driving. There have been many car accidents due to texting while driving. That’s why I want to stop texting and driving. I have been trying to stop this disastrous behavior for many years. There have been so many injuries and deaths that could have been avoided if someone wasn’t paying attention to their cell phone but instead paying attention to what was in front of them. I have seen so many accidents that have involved texting and driving.
Imagine that you were a mom or a dad of three amazing kids but you are late for work and you need to text your boss that you are going to be late and then your co-worker Sara starts a full blown conversation with you while you’re driving you also forgot to buckle the kids before you left the apartment. While your texting you don’t see the semi truck in front of you that has stopped at a red light and you try to break has hard as you can but it’s to late your children are already flying out of the window. Lying on the hot pavement, the child slowly dies while the others are severely injured. You, the mom or dad of these kids will never forgive your self for this.
Getting away from that painful nightmare I hope you understand that texting and driving is bad for the world, and if you continue this behavior you will sadly be the character in one of these to stories I have shown to you. So if you don’t mind don’t be the Jerry or the mom and dad that didn’t pay attention but instead save a life from dying to early.
