And starting at $499 for the 16gb, wi-fi only... that's a good deal.
And it's like $600-some for the 16gb, wi-fi + 3G network (by AT&T).
*Note: the 3G network for the iPad does not require a contract, and you can cancel at anytime; that's another incentive. AND it's only $30 for unlimited data usage!
Overall, I hope that the Apple iPad comes out really soon. It is such an new, innovative product from Apple, giving it yet another step ahead of the competition.
