I want to start by updating you guys, and I guess all of Tengaged on some stuff that happened yesterday. I went to the doctor for a refill/blood work. Due to some history in the family and past medical issues I have had, there is a chance that I might be diabetic. Which would make sense with something I will not get into. So for the next week or so, I have to watch my blood pressure, keep myself active, and above all else consumption on food. I appreciate the understanding during this crazy time.
Now onto the fun stuff. We're at the point of the competition where safety is just not going to be given to you. I'm going to have to be very picky on this competition. So with that said, there will be no more safe placements. You either are in the top, or the bottom. Let's get to the critiques.
#Thnksfrthmmrs: Sofia by Clairo
So it took me a second to recognize the song you brought. I heard a slowed version of ti through Tik Tok. Hearing it in the normal place, I thought it sounded very nice. It's simplistic, but it has a nice calm setting to it. It was cute little bop song, and I thought all in all it was very nice. Good work!
#MrRobzilla: '03 Bonnie and Clyde by Jay-Z ft. Beyonce
I think we can all agree when it comes to music couples, they are the first thing to come to mind. So I loved the power these two have in the industry. This song however just wasn't doing it for me. The lyrics wasn't on point with the song, and I just didn't feel as engaged with it vs the other submissions. So I'm sorry about that.
#rhayden82: Jolene by Miley Cyrus (Originally done by Dolly Parton)
Jolene is such a very interesting song. I've been the girl raging over that bitch. But moreso it's hard to even come close to the way Dolly did it. Miley is just right there of being the same level, or even better! I loved this cover. I loved the acoustics that was brought to it. I'm very glad that Miley kept it to the original as best as she knew fit. This was a fun little song you sent in. I can't wait to see what is next!
#jason_2_12: Proud Mary by Tina Turner
I mean come on, this song is a legendary song. Tina is an artist that can hardly do wrong. Least for me anyway. With Proud Mary this was one of her finest collections, and I think no matter what generation you're in....you know this song and you sing along with it. Very good round for you!
#Spyder701: Jane by Brynn Cartelli
So this is where I am so conflicted because I love Brynn and her style of music. I really do. But I guess I didn't get into it like some of the others. The way she presents herself is nice, and I did like how she carried her notes. Especially the more powerful ones. But I suppose when I heard the other submissions I just didn't see it as strong of a submission. Sorry :/
#VanitySmurf: Roxanne by Arizona Zervas
First off, I need to step away from Roxanne as she is a crazy bitch. I think with this song, it sounded okay. But I didn't find much of an engagement between me and the song. He seems very fun, and the video itself was funny to watch. But when I heard it compared to others it almost sounded a little basic for me. I'm sorry :/
#tswiftlover13: Alice by Lady Gaga
I mean Gaga is one of my idols, and everyone on this site knows this. So it is no surprise that I love this song. I could see this song being played in some Revamped Alice series, and I think this song is very underrated in her Chromatica album. The sound is nice, the lyrics are cool, and it played out wonderfully. Good work this round!
I apologize for the critiques being minimal, but again shit is going on irl. So let's get to it.
Four of you shined. But one of you was the shining star of the round.

rhayden82! Congratulations! The song may be a cover, but it is one of the better covers. Solid work this week!
Julian, Jason, Tswift.....great job this round. You three are safe!
Which leaves our three weakest submitters for the round. One of you managed to survive and advance into Round 7.
With that said....Rob and Vanity. I am sorry to say but you are the bottom All Stars of the round.
You know the drill. It's time to reveal this round's Submission Assassin. This user brought humor in their short run to the show, and had some nice submissions. Let's test their growth shall we?
Window, from Series 1! Welcome back to this little shindig.
Rhayden and Window, for this Legacy Showdown, the two of you will take part in a showdown that I literally gave an example to for this challenge.
LEGACY SHOWDOWN: THE BEATLES
The Beatles are one of the most iconic groups in music. So I feel it only right to have a challenge inspired by them. For this challenge, the two of you will be asked to send in a song by the legendary group. I will have to exempt Hey Jude from the Showdown as I feel that is the easiest submission to do!
All Stars (including Rhayden) you have until 7 pm EST tomorrow to vote either Rob or Vanity. Obviously Vanity and Rob will not vote.
Rhayden and Window, the two of you have until tomorrow at 7 pm EST to send in your Beatles song. Good luck icons!
