if you were on a survivor tribe with the goal to all stick together thru swaps and merges, but then quickly found out you were at the bottom of the totem poll (literally 8th out of 9) would you
A) ride it out with the tribe and stay loyal, let them take you out when they have no other choice
or B) try to make a move with outsiders to put yourself in a better position and go against your tribe
EDIT: you are also 5 merges in at this point and the streak can't be broken obviously!
depends how close i was to most of those ppl. i would probably try to make a pact with a few ppl i’m close with and when the time came, break off from the tribe and ally with the outsiders
There are too many variables for a straight answer. Like if you've only been with that tribe for 1-2 merges, option B may be pretty tempting. If you've been with A considerably longer, you may have a stronger loyalty, even if you know you are first to go you want to prove yourself to the group and go out strong.
But like...it's tengaged, there are a limited number of people on the site that actively play survivor, so you also have to think about whether it's worth it to make lasting enemies of people you will cross paths with again, just to get an extra merge or two.
cheritaisdelicious it we ever lost 1 or 2 comps and were all together i was getting the boot every time, and they had tried to vote me out twice the previous merge so i tried to flip early in the next one
typhlosion37 I don't know what I personally would have done in the situation, but I do agree with your point of like...you shouldn't EXPECT loyalty from people who are CLEARLY on the bottom. If people feel disposable, they don't have incentive to stay.
