first of all this show is so good.. especially for the UK's standards. I feel we've always hugely lacked in the social strategy department, survivor got cancelled after 2 seasons, in BB you weren't allowed to talk about nominations.. everything revolves around the public and being liked by them.
Like, what have we had? I'm a celebrity? Anyone that dares murmur an ounce of strategy on that gets cancelled for 'playing a game'.. or, Bake Off? the most strategic thing someone did on there was steal someone's bloody flour. The only show I can think of is the Apprentice, but then people on there still get bashed to death for not being loyal and socially responsible.
ANYWAY, this show is a breath of fresh air! [ok I will admit it is as bit messy regarding the rules, and I do find the challenges a total drag/totally pointless if all the 'teams' do is help each other anyway.. but the new idol-type thing they have is fun]. The revealings at breakfast are great and the ROUNDTABLES ARE AMAZING! SO. MUCH. DRAMA. I LOVE how brutal it is!!!
As much as I'm not a fan of Wilf and wanted karma to bite him by Alyssa slinging his ass, he did make a good move. I was shook at how emotional she got, I'd have thrown him under the bus HARD. Tbh I feel as good of a job as they had been doing, it became obvious it was them, and still is, him. As for queen Amanda, she's playing the best game, but I can't lie I was low key pissed she sided with him, she better watch out! Alex is OK, I didn't like her boyfriend at all, he was cocky as hell. Matt drooling over her was cringe af but good TV. Faye is an icon. Andrea is too. The whole Aaron situation was wild, Jon was nastyy in that but hey, I stan bold gameplay. Meryl and Hannah I feel play way too personally. Theo is annoying. The Traitors got out some smart people in the guy with the long hair and the police woman.
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST..... MADDY! This woman is the best thing to grace British television. She's smart and the way she just says it how it is in that tone of voice she has makes me laugh every time.. *big moment in tom going* *goes straight for Meryl's throat* dead. She's knows what she has to do and she doesn't give a flying fig about how any of the other players, nor public, perceive her. Legendary. LETS GO
I love Faye too!!!!! But I completely disagree about Maddy & I dont see why everyone is obsessed with her. Like yea she cracked its Wilf but the way she goes around things is so wrong. I think she wants to come across as a Stacy Soloman type of person but shes an actress. Shes been on Eastenders and many other TV shows... I think shes fake and is trying to play 'dumb'.. clearly shes not dumb because she knows so much.
Apart from that rant, I love Meryl & Hannah now too (didnt like her before). I dont mind Andrea but she hasnt inputted much to the show, I love Alex and MY WINNER IS AMANDA.
I love Maddy also she's my fave but I think she'll get voted out soon if she can't swing the people in the middle to her side. Alex / Amanda / Aaron are other people I like the way John talked to Aaron was absolutely disgusting imo.
